IBF at COMTEC 2005

IBF was present at COMTEC 2005 (Technology Committee) that took place from September 18 - 20, 2005, at the Sofitel Hotel in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro.

The objective of the XXII Technology Committee, organized by the NNA (National Newspapter Association), was to provide an exchange of experience between newspapers and updating of knowledge concerning technology.

The meeting began on Sunday with a welcome cocktail and several lectures occured on Monday and Tuesday about prepress, CtP, reduction of industrial costs, distribution, telecommunications, motivation of personnel and trends of the future scenario of newspapers.

Near the conference rooms, IBF's booth reunited their own professionals to demonstrate their products and services.

IBF's Prominence at Print 05 and Converting 05

IBF - Indústria Brasileira de Filmes S/A represented Brazil at the Print and Converting 2005, the largest show of graphic arts in the Americas. The show, which takes place every four years, occured on September 9-15 in Chicago, USA and, as usual, for the past 30 years, IBF was present.

IBF' booth, number 6119, was supported by the entire sales staff from both the USA and Brazil and headed by its Vice President, Luiz Nei Arias. The entire staff was available to tend to the visitor's necessities. At IBF's booth, meeting point of national and international clients, live demonstrations of the processing of our negative plates CTcP (computer to conventional plate) and thermal plate Million 2 Ulttra.

IBF has been very active in the American market for the past 35 years where its products have been very well accepted due to top quality and competitiveness which allows the company to be one of the biggest players in the American graphic market.

IBF and its CTP solutions at Fiepag IBF Indústria Brasileira de Filmes S/A participated of Fiepag 2005, the most important Latin American graphic arts show, during March 20 - 24. The show, in its 18th issue, took place at the Hotel Anhembi, in São Paulo, in the exhibition pavilion. IBF had its staff of professionals from its 18 units in Brazil and with its export staff to attend both national and international visitors.
